【The Technical Center of the SSG】

　The Technical Center of SSG is one of the enterprise technical centers in Shanghai municipal industrial system. It was confirmed by the experts organized by the Shanghai Enterprise Technical Centers Office in November, 2000.

　The Technical Center of SSG is an important part of the developing and innovation system in SSG. There are 30 technicians in the Center, master degree 5 and bachelor degree 15, among them 3 senior engineers and 15 engineers.

　The Technical Center of SSG is currently engaged in the field including soap, detergent, industrial auxiliaries, oleochemicals etc. Every year a batch of new products launches into the market. Latter the Center will enter into the printing ink, battery and other fields. There are more than ten big and precision analytic instruments, such as Gas chromatograph- Infrared detector, Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry, Gas chromatograph, Infrared analyzer, high-pressure liquid chromatography. More than ten thousands of special technical books and scientific tool books are available in its library. The Center pays great attention to extensive relations, co-operations and view-exchanges with universities and scientific institutes both internally and externally. The Center has close relations with East China University of Science & Technology and Wuxi University of Light Industry. By the technical cooperation to introduce advanced technology abroad and invitation of the foreign experts from big and famous companies for lectures, with the co-operation between the enterprise and universities and the international view-exchange the scientific research work of the Center and the personality have been greatly promoted.

The Technical Center of SSG is equipped with soap products department, detergent department, industrial auxiliary department, inks department, battery department, and analysis & detect department and information center.
